BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The visiting Muhlenberg College Mules scored 10 first-half goals as they cruised to a 14-0 win Saturday afternoon on the Main Line.
Muhlenberg got on the board when Ali Gabriele netted an unassisted goal at 27:54. About a minute later, Alex Bellioni scored her first of two goals in the half to give the Mules a 2-0 lead.
Muhlenberg added eight more goals during the opening half as Molly Davin and Stephanie Umback each scored a pair of goals. The Mules held a 10-0 lead at the half.
In the second-half, Umbach added another goal while three other teammates registered goals to earn their first conference win of the season.
Leading the Owls, freshman Georgina Dominique recorded the only shot of the day while sophomore Ashton Dwyer and freshman Claire Johnson tallied two draws each. Dwyer and Johnson as well as seniors Kelsey Harris and Melina Higgins all scooped-up two groundballs each. Sophomore goalie Katie Fong posted nine saves.
The Owls will return to action when they host Immaculata on Tuesday, April 23, for a 4:30 pm non-conference game.
